The best leggings under $25

When I started exercising after my daughter turned one, my workout clothes were leftovers from my college years. I'm talking champion sports bras and thick boot leg pants. I would be dripping in sweat after each workout - my clothes were not very functional.

I began to pick up items here and there - sports bras on sale from City Sports, a pair of Lulemons (before the see-through scandal), some Athleta gear. Instagram was especially inspirational. There are accounts solely dedicated to workout gear!

Enter Ana's leggings. I stumbled upon Ana's shop on IG and love her designs. Eclectic, colorful and fun, and very reasonably priced (around $20 a pair, with a discount code). Most yoga pants are over $60, so I was intrigued!  I purchased two pairs of leggings and a pair of shorts. Shipping was not too pricy (and free shipping is offered with the purchase of more than 3 pairs).

Universe on fire leggings

Ana's leggings are generally one size fits all. I'm on the smaller, athletic side, so I was concerned that they might be too big.  But the fit was quite good!  The leggings are a great quality for the price.  The fabric is nice and soft, and the leggings don't pinch. They are higher waisted, which isn't my favorite style, but not a deal-breaker. I've worn them at hot yoga, to run, and as "regular" clothes, and they've held up well.

Through the vines leggings

I love the star-patterned shorts I ordered!  They have a slouchy waist that can be worn high or folded over. They have a nice fit in the tush area but have loose pockets. I've worn them to workout and as cute going-out shorts.  I would wear these forever if I could!

Leggings and some other gear are available at www.anasleggings.us. The site is often running sales, and new styles are released regularly.  Definitely a cost-conscious way of staying stylish while working out.
